What is Grand arena?

Moku Grand Arena (GA) is an always-on fantasy gaming league with AI Moki competitors. Players can collect cards, build lineups, enter daily or weekly contests to earn rewards.

Season 1 of Grand Arena has a Starting prize pool of $1,000,000. As you complete actions in the ecosystem, you will get mXP.

💸 Your end of season payout = Prize pool total * (your mXP total/sum of total qualified mXP from other players)

Core Mechanics

You need 4 Moki cards and 1 Scheme card to enter into a contest. You can start entering contests on Feb 19 at 11 am EST. The matches that the daily fantasy is based on will start around 8 hours later (can look at contest for specifics).

Moki Cards - 4 are used to play in daily contests

• Cards come in 4 rarities. The higher the rarity, the higher the points multiplier that the card will get on points earned in fantasy contests.
  • Basic (1x)
  • Rare (1.25x)
  • Epic (1.5x)
  • Legendary (1.75x)

Schemes - modifier cards that are used to change scoring outcomes in daily contests, 1 per lineup. These cards help add additional strategy to the lineups for fantasy contests.

Contests in Grand Arena

Contests in Grand Arena use your collection of cards to compete in fantasy style tournaments to win prizes, mXP and more. Contests have various formats and durations.

Your lineup scores points from the performance of the Moki on your card in Moki Mayhem during the contest window. Your position determines your cash & mXP rewards.

Contests allow good players to win instant cash rewards and earning more mXP.

Example

A contest with an entry fee of 300 Gems, awards 150 mXP for entering.

If you place, you also earn additional mXP based on the Gem value of your winnings.

• Let’s say you win 900 gems from the Contest, this earns you 600 mXP
• That’s 150 mXP from entry + 600 mXP from performance = 750 mXP total.

Contest rewards are paid out in USDC and can be withdrawn or respent in game.

Contest Types

Free Contests

• Free contests run once per day. There’s no cost to enter, and each account gets one entry. These contests are played without Legendary cards, and prizes include a small amount of leaderboard mXP.

Paid Contests

• Paid contests run daily and weekly, with potentially different rulesets. Players may enter multiple lineups per contest, depending on contest rules and available cards. Cards are locked for the duration of the contest.

Examples of Day 1 Contests

• Open (4+ contests)

  • No restrictions on lineup rarities,
  • Multiple Open Contests run with different entry costs: 100, 300 and 2500 Gems
  • 100 total entries cap per contest
  • Running both Top 20% and 50/50 prizing structures

• One Of Each (1 contest)

  • Lineups must include one Champion card of each rarity
  • Entry cost: 300 Gems
  • 100 total entries cap per contest
  • Following a Top 20% prizing structure

• Star Cap (1 contest)

  • Lineups must stay under a total Star Rating limit (20),
  • Entry cost: 300 Gems,
  • 100 total entries cap per contest
  • Following a Top 20% prizing structure

You will need to spend the entry gems PER lineup you enter into that contest.

How to get Alpha on Performance

A huge factor of the fantasy layer of Grand Arena is building strong competitive lineups and spotting winners to gain an edge before others do.

Step 1: Watch & track through replays.

• Go to https://train.grandarena.gg/leaderboards (you’ll need to log in with ronin wallet)
• See how Champions performed in recent Moki Mayhem games by searching the champion and watching replays.

• Leaderboards - Pay attention to the mokis who are performing best in the weekly Champion Moki leaderboard to see the top Champions.
• Use Community tools - Check the meta in terms of current Champions & dominant classes. Filter them by stats & rank.

Step 2: Key factors to watch on Mokis

• Performance Stats (this helps you choose synergistic scheme cards based on what the Moki champion actually does)

  • Avg Gacha Deliveries
  • Avg Eliminations
  • Avg Wart Distance
  • Avg score per game

  Since these stats are averages, it’s important to also look at recent match history to see if the Moki has been performing well as well.

  

• Moki Classes & Traits: Certain classes & traits will stack well with Scheme cards
  • EG. Divine intervention Scheme card pairs with Spirit Fur trait
  • EG. Gacha Gouging Scheme card pairs with Strikers
• Moki Owner: To see if they are using snacks on their Mokis, training them efficiently & adjusting to the meta when needed
• Upcoming Matches: Team comp is important. Since Champion Mokis are always paired with 2 non-champions that support it, having supportive non-champion Mokis is important.
  • eg. having a team of strikers will help with Gacha. Having a defender that can win by wart but also a bruiser teammate to protect the wart rider.
